Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is a famous American actor. She has starred in a variety of TV and film series, including "Christy", the drama about a young woman known as Christy Huddleston. Also, she is known for appearing in the titular role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Born to a department store buyer and a kindergarten teacher, Martin started her career in acting at the young age of seven years old when her aunt who was a nanny for actor Michael Landon's kids, assisted her in landing her a role in the 1982 series "Father Murphy.". Following her graduation from Yale University, she took acting more seriously and landed substantial roles, both on the small screen and the big screen. Martin is also a photographer and a dancer. Martin is also a mother of two and the official spokesperson for Lupus. After her sister's tragic death at the age of 19 Martin has been trying to spread awareness of the condition.
