Nadia Elena Comaneci

She became a global celebrity when she scored the world's first perfect 10 on an asymmetrical bar during the Montreal Olympic Games. In 1976, Nadia Comaneci went on to score six more perfect 10s. She also became one of the youngest Olympic gold medallist. In addition to attracting media attention, but also contributed to Romania become a household name.
